Recipe Yield
Makes 12 4" pancakes
Serves 4-6 people
Suggested Serving Size
Little Kids (age 8 and under): 1-2 pancakes with 1/2 cup Greek yogurt and as much Nomster Applesauce as desired
Big Kids and Adults (age 9+): 2-3 pancakes with 1/2 cup Greek yogurt and as much Nomster Applesauce as desired
Grocery List
Optional: make our homemade applesauce recipe as a pancake topping (in place of syrup)
This recipe tastes great with our Nomster Chef Applesauce used as a topping in place of syrup. If you want to make the applesauce, add 4 apples (any variety) to your shopping list.
If you want to make the two recipes at the same time, here's how that works:
Start applesauce (peel and chop apples, put on stove to simmer)
Make pancakes
Finish applesauce (take off stove and mash)
Eat both together!
Ingredient notes
Greek Yogurt and Milk:
Wondering what % milk fat to buy? Read our thoughts on that here: What Dairy is Right for My Family?
How to make a flax egg (to make recipe egg-free and vegan):
Mix 1 Tablespoon flaxseed meal and 3 tablespoons water, then let sit in the fridge for 15 minutes. Then use in place of the egg!

Grown-up Pro Tip
We recommend serving these pancakes with a topping or side dish of plain Greek yogurt. The protein in the yogurt balances out the carbs in the pancakes, so your family will feel more full for longer (and not have a post-pancakes energy crash)!
This recipe is designed to be made in conjunction with our applesauce recipe if you'd like. Here's the link to that recipe- or you can just substitute with pure maple syrup.
