Dairy:

Almonds:
We think almonds add a delicious crunch to this recipe, but if your kid chef struggles with texture issues, you may want to leave them out.
Blueberries:
Frozen or fresh will both work! Frozen blueberries are often more cost effective, and may be fresher if blueberries are out of season.
Chia seeds:
Unfamiliar with chia seeds? Look for them in the health food section of your grocery store.
Grown-up Pro Tips
To feed more family members, just make an assembly line of mason jars/containers for as many servings as you need. This can be a fun math activity! Help your child double, triple, quadruple (etc.) the shopping list quantities before you go shopping.
Mason jars are cute but a little harder for kids to pour things into. Expect a little bit of a mess if you use them. If you have one, a wide-mouth mason jar might be your best bet.
